Junior Management In-house Programmes

Why Adalta?

Junior management programme:  We turn ‘doers’ into ‘managers’. We inspire. We create junior management programmes for anyone in a front-line management role, typically team leaders, supervisors and first-line managers.

Junior management training: Whether moulding new, existing or aspiring junior managers, we will help people transition from being one of the team to being responsible for the team. We show them how to work ‘on’ the team rather than ‘in’ the team. How to take control. With confidence. And how to get results through the team.

We know from experience that managing at the sharp end requires confidence and a practical grasp of what management is like in the real world. We create real-life situations and problems that they face in their day to day role, so they learn about stuff they can use. Tools they can apply immediately. It’s about real life management – not text book management.

Our programmes will help team leaders, supervisors and first line managers create an environment in which every day competency can be transformed into real results. Our learners can expect to be challenged, supported, stretched and inspired.

Simple but effective

Junior management consultants:  You tell us what problems you want to solve, or what you want your junior managers to be doing differently, then leave the rest to us. We listen. We learn. We make sure we understand.

We then simply build a junior management programme around exactly what you need. We adapt. We integrate key measures and important messages. We tailor the content of every individual workshop to best fit the skill level and needs of the participants. We make the complex simple, so you don’t have to worry about anything and can get on with the day job. We sometimes even pull rabbits out of hats, but then we do like a challenge!

We deliver. We engage participants through high interaction, practical learning, variety, tried and tested material, and highly experienced, dynamic trainers.

Above all, we take a tried-and-tested approach that we know works and we refuse to compromise on service or quality.

Our junior management training programmes typically consist of a number of modules that each target a specific area for development. We have tried and tested material in each area and can tailor the content so it meets your exact requirements.

If you don’t see what you are looking for in the list below, let us know and chances are we can build a bespoke module for you.

All of our modules can be delivered as stand-alone courses. Click on each module for more information.

One size never fits all

We don’t do off-the-shelf programmes for junior managers, but we get that people like to have a sense of what a development programme at this level might look like. With this in mind we decided to show you an example modular programme based on the most frequently requested development areas for people working at this level. This would be typically be aimed at team leaders, supervisors or any other first-line management role.

Module 2: Time Management
Level 2: Managing the Team
Module 3: Managing Others

Module 5: Meetings Skills

Build your own

We have a huge portfolio of tried and tested material which we can tap into to create powerful junior management programmes, so we can quickly and easily build one that’s right for you. For a full list of flexible module options click here.

We also offer the option to integrate a Level 2, 3 or 4 qualification so that participants achieve an internationally recognised management qualification at end of their development.

Flex to fit

Programmes can be as long or short as you need; from two days to twelve months. To keep the learning relevant and real, we integrate work-based scenarios and activities that simulate what happens in the day-to-day workplace so we can really test people’s ability to use what they learn.

Participants receive full-colour learning materials, and we will adapt these to include your organisation’s branding and key messages that are relevant.

A perfect blend

For us it is vital that what people learn on our programmes can easily and immediately be used in their day-to-day work. Practical learning and tools that translate directly into good management practice. Consistently. Habitually.

We will agree a blend of learning methods that compliment the programme and support effective transfer of learning back to the workplace.  Our programmes include a range of complimentary learning methods to ensure this happens, for example classroom-based learning, on-line profiling, work-based tasks/projects, business impact presentations, coaching, mentoring, action learning, work-based assignments and personal development/action planning and tracking.

Real results

All our programmes are focused on getting tangible results. To this end every programme is underpinned by an evaluation plan. We also provide bespoke evaluation tools that help elicit the key measures that help you – and us – to justify the value of the training.
